If you are experienced in leading complex Inspection, Repair and Maintenance (IRM) activities for offshore pipeline systems and you want to be part of an independent and entrepreneurial company with a high focus on quality -  you might be the right person to join our team.

Responsibilities:

As an Offshore Project Manager, you are the independent expert and point of contact for integrity issues of our clients. You proactively advise our clients and prepare the recommendations they need to demonstrate the suitability of the often complex pipeline systems, emergency repair reports and other specialist advice matters. You have a guiding role and easily switch between clients. You are able to make great use of your established network and you have an eye for potential opportunities. With your experience, you are an important source of information within our organisation.

Your experience and background give you a hands-on mentality. This role provides the opportunity to be closely involved in often critical jobs for our clients. It offers a high level of variety in activities, both in the field and in the office. You strive to exceed the clients’ expectations and you easily feel at home in new situations. The projects are very diverse, both in terms of contract and location.

Who are we looking for?

First of all, you must recognise yourself in this unique independent and challenging role. The dynamic nature of this position demands flexibility and an entrepreneurial hands-on attitude. Extensive (practical) offshore experience with pipeline integrity issues is a must. In your role you are open, flexible and service minded.

Other desired skills and experiences:

  • A relevant, completed College/University programme, for example in the field of mechanical engineering;
  • At least 10 years of experience in pipeline inspection, maintenance and/or repairs;
  • Sufficient knowledge of international standards in relation to pipeline related laws and regulations;
  • Extensive experience with project management;
  • Analytical skills and affinity with preparing reports and recommendations;
  • Experience with stakeholder management at various levels;
  • An entrepreneurial spirit to contribute to the growth of IRMS;
  • Excellent command of the English language in both speaking and in writing.

IRM Systems is a Pipeline Integrity Services & Management organisation. We offer specialist services throughout the lifetime of pipeline systems, both onshore and offshore. Clients rely on us for consultancy on pipeline inspections, repairs, modifications, interruptions or maintenance work. We focus predominantly on challenging, non-standard pipelines.
We advise and engineer but also take care of on-site project management and full EPC.
