IRM Systems developed a Pipeline Integrity and Budget Optimisation Tool (PIBOT) with which we can make among others exposures and free span risks of offshore pipelines insightful. By using smart algorithms, the PIBOT enables the shift from Time- to Risk based integrity management.

SMART DATA ANALYTICS

With the PIBOT bathymetric survey intervals can be optimised. The tool uses bathymetric survey data, combined with other relevant integrity data, to determine risks automatically. The output is suitable to convince the Regulator to consider revised survey intervals. The PIBOT is adaptive and future proof since it is algorithm based and can be continuously improved with new data. Low risk pipelines could be inspected less than high risk pipeline, resulting in interesting cost savings..
